Registration

On March 3, registration will open for elementary school students going into Grade 1 to Grade 5. Registration will be done via SchoolEngage.

For returning students, or parents who already have a student in the Division, sign in to SchoolEngage with your existing PowerSchool Parent Portal account. Once logged into the Parent Portal to access SchoolEngage click on the SchoolEngage icon on the bottom left hand side of the navigation menu. Because user is already successfully logged into PowerSchool there is no need to re-enter credentials to access SchoolEngage:

Parents/guardians/caregivers who are new to Lethbridge School Division, and do not currently have a student registered with the Division, or do not have a PowerSchool account with our division will have to create a new account on SchoolEngage, add a new student, and start the 2025/2026 Registration Form.

If you live outside of the Dr Plaxton Elementary School attendance boundary, but still wish to attend Dr Plaxton school in 2025-2026, please complete and submit an Out of Boundary application form by clicking on the link below.

Kindergarten registration for the 2025-2026 school year will begin on January 20, 2025. In order for your child to be eligible for the 2025-2026 Kindergarten program, they must be 5 years old on or before, December 31, 2025. 

We are planning to offer full day, alternating day programs for kindergarten as follows:

• Monday/Wednesday and scheduled Fridays 
• Tuesday/Thursday and schedule Fridays

Any changes will be communicated as soon as possible.

Kindergarten registrations are now hosted on SchoolEngage. To register your student, please click the link below then choose create a new account. Once an account has been created, choose to add a new student and complete the form.
